Description

Deck of Icelandic playing cards in clear case. Commemorating 1891-1924. Replicas of first made cards in 1922, the first Icelandic cards ever issued in Iceland. Artist: Gudmundur Thorsteinsson (Muggur). Backs of cards have a picture of the famous waterfall Gulfoss. On cards the queens are dressed in different I Rolandic national costumes. The knaves are dressed like farmers, sailors and students. The aces are decorated with pictures from different parts of Iceland. The deck is in excellent condition. Clean and crisp. 3 Jokers.
