Description

This is a vintage coat that was passed down to me from my grandma. It is 85% wool and 15% camel hair in a beige/brown/camel colour. Lining is 100% viscose. The coat is quite heavy. It’s double breasted with beautiful tortie buttons. Has 2 pockets, 1 on either side on the outside of the coat. The back of the coats lapel slit also has a button so that you can fasten it up so it’s not as “flowy” and more wind proof. There isn’t a tag on it to say what size I’m afraid but I have done the measurements myself, but I’d say it’s around an M/L as I’m a size 8 or S in coats and it’s heavily oversized on me. Pit to pit: around 22” or 56cm Across chest when buttons done: 21” or 52cm Sleeve length from shoulder: 23” or 58cm Length of entire coat: around 41.5” or 105cm Now for the nitty gritty on the condition so please read as I won’t be accepting returns as I’m being extremely transparent. The coat has been upcycled and is in fantastic condition it seems everywhere EXCEPT the right front panel. There are small holes that have been patched up with the embroidered patches of birds and leaves as you can see - there are 2 holes which I haven’t covered but they can be very easily either patched up or taken to get sewed. It has also got a couple embroidered patches on the inside bottom of the panels also. The holes themselves are tiny enough that you can’t really notice unless you’re reallyyyyy looking. Please see photos as I’ve tried to document everything I’ve noticed. Do let me know if you need more photos or videos etc. I’m only selling it as I’ve lost weight and it just absolutely drowns me. Shame to let it go however if it’s not worn it will just deteriorate unfortunately.
